  22. Yes, but not the CDR-222.  It had a sticker that clearly said SCSI-II,
  23. and I have not yet found anything to contradict this claim.

  28. The CDR-222 has PLAY AUDIO(10) = opcode 0x45.  It does not have
  29. opcode 0xa5 or 0x48.  This is OK with the SCSI-II spec.

  34. Nope.  The CDR-222 doesn't have the NEC logo on the front (I think it was
  35. actually manufactured by some other company), but is still SCSI-II.
  36. (It might support the 0xde opcode too, this is a vendor specific command,
  37.  so supporting it would not be against SCSI-II.)

  44. As I said, supporting vendor specific command in the drive is not
  45. against the standard.  Assuming that a drive has opcode 0xa5 or 0x48
  46. just because it's SCSI-II is however.  Any player that wants to support
  47. SCSI-II should be prepared to make do with just opcode 0x45.
