- opcode 0xa5 or 0x48. This is OK with the SCSI-II spec.

- Nope. The CDR-222 doesn't have the NEC logo on the front (I think it was
- actually manufactured by some other company), but is still SCSI-II.
- (It might support the 0xde opcode too, this is a vendor specific command,
- so supporting it would not be against SCSI-II.)

- As I said, supporting vendor specific command in the drive is not
- against the standard. Assuming that a drive has opcode 0xa5 or 0x48
- just because it's SCSI-II is however. Any player that wants to support
- SCSI-II should be prepared to make do with just opcode 0x45.
